Pico de Orizaba

Located 90 km (56 mi) west of Veracruz, off Highway 150. This national park covers 19,750 hectares (48,782 acres) and has the highest mountain in Mexico. At the foothills of the volcano you can go hiking or horseback riding. If you had something more adventurous in mind, we recommend a climb to the top of the volcano, which is covered with snow throughout most of the year. At the park you can hire guides and rent all the equipment you?ll need for a thrilling mountain climbing adventure.
